2011 thus far..

So I have to admit 2010 treated me well. In June I gave birth to a beautiful little boy. In August I married my best friend, and the love of my life, and then in November we bought our first "fixer upper". Oh, and December brought me a new job! Going into 2011 I have my reservations. How could any year top 2010? So far so good for 2011, but then again, I kick the year off with my 21st birthday. Of course its going to be a good start! Today was the first day on the new job, and its a little chaotic, but I love a challenge!
Landon is almost 7 months old, and officially has his two bottom teeth! He is chewing on EVERYTHING, and going through a few outfits a day, due to drool. At his last Dr's appt he was 19lbs 7 oz (76th%), 29 inches long (98th%) and his head is, well huge. :) Im loving this age. He is crawling everywhere, yelling non stop, and flirting with every cute girl he sees. Like father, like son. ;)  He eats more then me on a daily basis, and I am already dreading when he starts eating real food. I am going to go bankrupt buying food for Beau and Landon.
Beau and I are doing great. Loving the married life, and being parents. We of course, aren't perfect.. but try to keep communication lines open, and respect one another. I have learned I need to pick my battles when it comes to my marriage. Yelling at Beau because he doesn't rinse his plate when he is done isn't going to do any good for either of us. I'm learning, and thats a start, right?? I really look forward for the years to come! I'm so excited to grow more as a wife, and mom!
We have been spending most of our free time working on the house. We bought a house that someone was trying to fix up themselves, and was going no where. So we took over, and I have officially painted EVERY SINGLE wall in the upstairs! We tore the bathrooms down to the beams and re did the kitchen-kinda. Its been hard work, but well worth it. I learned how handy my husband, dad, and dad in law are, and let's face it, I didnt do much but paint and pick everything out when it came to the re-model! I don't know what I would have done without my family!
So... even though 2010 was probably the best year of my life, Im looking forward to what 2011 has in store.

My mom has been telling me for quite some time now that I need to start blogging. So here I am. Learning how this whole "blogging" thing works. I figure with Landon getting older I should start sharing with all the family out of town what is going on in our lives. Christmas came and went, and 2011 is almost here. Time is flying, its funny to think Landon is almost 7 months old! My baby is getting too big, too fast! But isnt that how every parents feels?
